Big storm coming in… Bring it!

The pattern over the Pacific is changing and I’ve got snow on my mind.   Focusing at work has been hard today.  A big storm is coming in from the Gulf of Alaska and the Sierra is predicted to get pummelled.  Here’s the latest glimpse at the  forecast period for Carson Pass, just south of Lake Tahoe:  Carson Pass Storm Forecast

This makes me grin ear to ear.

I can’t wait to get out on the skis and tour in the backcountry, but I’m itching to get some Turkey Turns if I can.  The snowfall totals for the storm above 8000 feet range between 2-4 feet, and that could set up a base for the year!  My fingers are crossed…
